T-Fal Optigrill Review: Is the T-Fal OptiGrill worth the money?
Hey, Elizabeth here,
And you’re reading my uncensored review of what I really thought about the T-Fal OptiGrill.
Note that this is a review though, if you’re looking for the T-Fal OptiGrill website then click here.
Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about buying a T-Fal OptiGrill, there weren’t many real reviews around so I thought I’d write one quickly to help any of you who are in the same position as I was.
But be warned, I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you may as well leave now.
So here goes…
My husband calls me his Gadget Girl because I love gadgets, gizmos, and other things that might make life easier. Sometimes I find a bad one but other times I find some true gems. My T-Fal OptiGrill is one of those gems. You would have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get me to give it up!
In my opinion, the T-Fal OptiGrill is worth every penny (and I’d have even paid more!); it is the best indoor grill on the market. I love so many things about it that I’m not sure where to begin. I guess the first thing would have to be that I love the way it cooks. It has six cooking programs with pre-set cooking temperatures and cycles for red meat, poultry, burgers, pork, sausage, lamb, sandwiches, and fish and seafood. It’s even got a color-coded system that lets you monitor the cooking process.
It’s size is a love/don’t like for me. I don’t like the footprint on the counter but I love that there’s enough cooking space to cook enough to feed my family. No standing around waiting while I run my indoor bbq grill cooks steaks in “shifts”. I can get enough on there at once to have everyone’s steak (or whatever I’m cooking) done at the same time.
The manufacturer bragged about how easy it was to clean up. I’m always skeptical when they say that! Fortunately for me (and you too!) is that they were so right. The grilling plates pop out easily and I can just pop them into the dishwasher. Done!
